Zoomlion gets great recognition for the outstanding cleanup of Mahama’s inauguration ceremony.

Zoomlion Ghana Limited has received recognition for its outstanding work in enhancing Accra’s Black Star Square and other areas in preparation for the inauguration of President John Dramani Mahama’s administration.

The ceremony signaled the start of President Mahama’s second term in office after his inauguration on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

Numerous attendees, including partygoers and bystanders, praised the company’s cleanup and beautification efforts as “par excellence.”

Zoomlion sent out more than five hundred workers to do a thorough cleaning and beautification project around Accra’s main thoroughfares to get Black Star Square ready for the event.

With exquisitely manicured artificial turf that flawlessly matched the imposing architecture of the Ghanaian Parliament, Zoomlion’s workers turned the Black Star Square into a breathtaking sanctuary. It was very amazing to see the final product!

Along with cleaning Accra’s ceremonial streets, the workers painted the curbs, swept the streets, weeded road medians, desilted drains, and adorned traffic lights and trees with the country’s colors.

For the historic inauguration ceremony, Black Star Square and Accra’s ceremonial streets were immaculate and shining thanks to the cleanup and beautification effort.

The business also painted paths for pedestrians and pavements.
Zoomlion’s continuous contributions to Ghana’s environmental sustainability and cleanliness show how committed the company is to the country’s welfare.

President Mahama is anticipated to concentrate on tackling the nation’s economic issues, like inflation and unemployment, during his second term in office after winning the 2024 presidential election with 57.3% of the vote.
