To strengthen their team, Ghana Premier League underdogs Legon Cities signed Robert Sowah Addo, a former Hearts of Oak defender.

After departing Hearts of Oak in June 2023, the seasoned center-back is back in the Ghana Premier League.

Before the second round begins, the former league champion is anticipated to bolster Legon Cities’ defense.

He joins Elijah Satekla and Emmanuel Gyamfi, who were formerly with Asante Kotoko, as the club’s sixth January acquisition.

Addo has one goal in his 81 Ghana Premier League matches.

Yaw Acheampong’s old Ghanaian team underperformed in the league’s first round, finishing 17th with 14 points.

The addition of Sowah Addo and other recruits, though, should help the team escape the dip.

Ghana will close its transfer window on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
