In preparation for the highly anticipated matchup with the Bibiani Goldstars, Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has announced his team’s readiness.
On matchday 14 of the domestic top division, the Porcupine Warriors will host the Bibiani Goldstars at Baba Yara Stadium.
Prosper Narteh believes his team is prepared for the game on Friday, December 27, 2024, even though he expects a difficult matchup.
“Goldstars is a very large squad with excellent players and one of the most renowned managers, Frimpong Manso, whom I greatly admire. I respect him just as much as he respects me.
“I believe there will be a lot of aggression in this tactical game. Because everyone will want to win the game, there will be a lot of hostility. Therefore, Friday’s game will be extremely aggressive, but we are prepared. All we need to do is organize our training program effectively to ensure completion.
After 134 games, Asante Kotoko has 24 points, good for fifth place in the Ghana Premier League standings, while Goldstars has 27 points, good for second place.
