Asante Kotoko striker, Kwame Opoku has revealed that the club is targeting winning the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title.
After a shaky start, the Porcupine Warriors have turned around their fortunes and are currently without a defeat in seven games.
Kotoko ended the first round of the season in the 3rd spot with 31 points.
Speaking on their chances of annexing the Premier League title, Opoku, who has so far scored five goals in four games said they aim to lift the ultimate.
“We want to win the Premier League title, and that is what every large team wants,” he said to Asempa FM.
“Our goal is to win the Premier League after the season,” he continued.
On Sunday, January 28, Asante Kotoko will play their second-round match of the season at home against Karela United, who are in danger of relegation, in the Matchday 18 games at Baba Yara Stadium.
