New arrivals must perform above themselves to get into Asante Kotoko’s starting XI – Prosper Ogum

Prosper Ogum, the head coach of Asante Kotoko, has pushed the team’s recent additions, Daniel Adjetey and Sampson Eduku, to put up outstanding performances to earn starting positions.
With just one draw in their previous six Ghana Premier League games, the Porcupine Warriors have been playing in excellent form.
With 31 points, they are presently in third place in the league, two points behind leaders Bibiani Gold Stars.
Despite the injury absences of Emmanuel Kotei and Albert Amoah, two important players, Kotoko has recently enjoyed success.
As they continue to compete for the league crown, their next test will be a home match against Karela United at Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Following the team’s convincing 4-1 victory over Vision FC, Prosper Ogum stressed the need to maintain the high standards the group has established.
“We want to keep our attack, midfield, and defense in the proper proportions. We work hard to make sure that we do not perform below expectations.
We must either stay at this level or get better from where we are today. This gives people who are not starting games a clear message.
“It is a clear indication to those who have signed that they must perform better than those who are currently playing to make the squad.” They will not get any playing time if they do anything less.
