Michael Sefah, a recent addition to Asante Kotoko, expressed his joy upon his transfer to the Ghanaian powerhouses.

During the January transfer window, Sefah, a former player for Liberty Professionals and Medeama SC, agreed to an 18-month contract with the Porcupine Warriors.

“I am happy to have signed for Kotoko. After he signed the contract, he remarked, “I am privileged to wear this jersey, as this is a club with such a rich history and a large following.”

Sefah will have competition from Henry Ansu, Samba O’neil, and James Ablorh for spots in the starting lineup.

“With Ablorh, Samba, and Ansu already here, I know there is fierce competition for spots, but I enjoy the challenge. Being up against players of that caliber will only motivate me to put in more effort and perform at my peak,” the 29-year-old continued.

“I am prepared to give it my all on the field and help the team win. The fans deserve nothing less than our best effort, and I’m here to deliver.”

When the Reds play Karela United on Sunday, Sefah might make his debut.
