Mahama has made bold and decisive appointments – Fuseini Inusah

Inusah Fuseini, a former member of parliament for Tamale Central, has praised President John Mahama for his appointments to public office and as a minister.

When it comes to choosing people to serve in his administration, he claims that President Mahama has been “determined, brave, and decisive.”

Speaking on JoyNews’ Newsfile on Saturday, January 25, Mr. Fuseini stated that the President is well aware that, as outlined in his platform, he has four years in office to govern and rebuild the nation.

Mr. Fuseini clarified that, although operating within the bounds of the Constitution, President Mahama had carefully selected his ministers.

He underlined that to leave a lasting legacy for the nation, the President is working with a sizable Parliament and trying to assemble the greatest candidates who share his vision and beliefs.

Therefore, there is an obligation placed on a president who is limited in how many years he can serve, how many times he can run for office, and how many ministers he can designate. Such a president must not play with disappointments.

He must make thoughtful decisions as he attempts to carry out his mandate, keeping in mind that the Ghanaians have placed a great deal of trust in him to rebuild this nation. There will be disappointment for those who make thoughtful choices,” he added.

The former MP further denounced what he called a widespread sense of entitlement among certain lawmakers, pointing out that many have been waiting for positions.

Citing their role in the President’s accomplishment as justification for their expectations, he said that some lawmakers are extremely dissatisfied.

But the president you are looking at is well aware that he cannot let the people of this nation down, that he cannot fall to the same depths as the NPP. He was telling the populace that he would do better and elevate the nation when he decided to start over.

“Recruitment to carry out this mandate and ambition would be tough,” Mr. Fuseini continued. We must move away from his previous methods, which may frustrate some individuals.
