Kwame Opoku, a striker for Asante Kotoko who returned, expressed his excitement about the team’s talented squad.
After difficult spells in Algeria and Morocco, the 27-year-old returned to the Reds with a two-and-a-half-year contract.
Opoku told the club’s media in an interview that he was thrilled to play with talented teammates.
“During our games, I saw a lot of quality in the guys. Everyone shows off their skills, and things will only get better as we stay closer,” he remarked.
Kwame Opoku also highlighted the close bond between the players and the coach. We all have a good relationship. Everyone gives it their all, even during training. He continued, “There is a terrific rapport with the coach.”
When Opoku returned, he immediately made an impression by scoring his first goal for the Porcupine Warriors in a 2-0 victory over the Bibiani Gold Stars at home.
He is presently anticipating Asante Kotoko’s upcoming matchup with Medeama Sporting Club on Sunday, January 5, at TNA Park, which is their Matchday 16 matchup.
