Kotoko duo was named in the best XI of the first round.

The 2024–25 Ghana Premier League season’s first-round Best 11 includes two Asante Kotoko players. Among them are midfield enforcer Justice Blay and striker Albert Amoah.
Although Asante Kotoko found it difficult to compete at one point, the club was able to turn things around thanks to the two players’ outstanding performances in the first half.
Hussein Mohammed of Hearts of Oak, who forms a midfield combination with Justice Blay, is one of the other players in the first round’s Best 11.
William Denkyi, Ebenezer Abban, Razak Simpson, and Kamaradini Mamudu provide cover for Heart of Lions’ Lawrence Osei, the goalie for the round.
Albert Amoah and Faisal Charwetey, the league’s top scorer, rightfully head the assault as they vie for the goal king’s honor.
As the Ghana Premier League moves into the second round next weekend, every player in the first round’s Best 11 will be crucial for their respective teams.
With up to six teams seen as contenders, the title race is anticipated to heat up.
