Karim Zito, coach of Dreams FC, blamed his team’s 2-1 loss to Asante Kotoko on Saturday on the inexperience of his players.
After the Ghana Premier League match, Karim Zito bemoaned his team’s excessive caution in the first half, claiming it broke their rhythm.
The Still Believe boys are only one point from the bottom of the table after the loss, sitting in second place with 12 points.
Zito remarked, “It seemed like we were disorganized because we gave Asante Kotoko a lot of respect in the first half.” However, we managed to generate several opportunities by placing the ball in the goal. I fail to see it. The player who put the ball in the net did it, not me.
Zito admitted that Asante Kotoko took advantage of their few opportunities and praised their efficiency. “They scored after Asante Kotoko generated two chances,” he said. Ultimately, I stated that my sons lacked experience. We treated Asante Kotoko with too much deference.
