After a strong first-round finish, Justice Blay has showered Ntim Manu, his midfield partner at Asante Kotoko this season, with accolades.

Despite criticism during the league’s early stages, Ntim Manu and Blay have developed into a powerful tandem in the center of Kotoko’s midfield under Blay’s tutelage.

Blay is adamant that Manu should receive more recognition than he currently receives ahead of the campaign‘s second round.

He stated, “I always give him the credit whenever we play together, and I honestly feel he is ahead of me in terms of performance. Ntim is not receiving the praise he deserves,” he remarked.

Manu, meanwhile, revealed that it appears that maintaining his focus and consistently raising his level of play has finally paid off.

At first, it was difficult to accept, but I did not give it much thought. I did not take any of the criticism personally because I knew I needed to make some changes to my game, but occasionally I had to put my phone away and concentrate on getting better,” Manu remarked.

Expected to start in midfield for the Porcupine Warriors against Karela United on Sunday are the two.
