The Porcupine Warriors announced the extension on Thursday, January 2, 2025, keeping one of their key players from the previous campaign.
Following the news, the 32-year-old said that Asante Kotoko is his home and that the supporters value him there.
“My home is Kotoko,” Blay declared to the group. “I am thankful for the tremendous support from the supporters and the trust the club has placed in me.” I am prepared to keep putting my all into earning this badge.
Justice Blay made an instant impression with two goals in 12 games when he first joined Kotoko on loan from Medeama SC during the 2019–2020 campaign.
In the 2021–2022 season, his outstanding performances won him a permanent move. He has since made 56 league games and established himself as a vital midfield player.
The resilient Justice Blay has played in 12 of the 15 Ghana Premier League games this season, scoring one goal, and his leadership and reliability have won him over supporters.
