Goalkeeper Benjamin Twum, who joined Asante Kotoko from Young Apostles, has expressed his excitement.
The Porcupine Warriors have offered the young, talented goalkeeper a three-year contract.
After completing his transfer, the 18-year-old told the club’s media that it was overwhelming to be joining the team he has long respected.
“To be honest, joining Kotoko is overwhelming. I have respected this club for as long as I can remember, and at this point in my career, I could not have imagined the chance to be a part of it,” he remarked.
The 18-year-old also underlined his dedication to getting better and helping the squad win.
“Whenever called upon, I am here to learn, develop, and give it my all. I immediately feel so much support and faith from everyone I have met at the club,” he continued.
Before our Ghana Premier League matchup with the Bibiani Gold Stars on Friday, Twum will be formally unveiled at Baba Yara Stadium after receiving jersey number 13.
