Asante Kotoko has officially announced the signing of Benjamin Twum, a youthful goalie.
The youthful, talented goalie signed a three-year contract with the Porcupine Warriors from Young Apostles, another Premier League team.
Twum’s outstanding efforts throughout the current 2024–2025 Ghana Premier League season earned him praise.
“Benjamin is a young goalkeeper with outstanding potential,” remarked head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, who expressed his joy over the deal. He has performed with maturity and poise despite his age. We are thrilled to have him on board and eager to watch him develop alongside us.
Twum talked passionately about his decision after joining the team, stating: “Joining Kotoko is overwhelming. I have adored this club for as long as I can remember, and at this point in my career, I could not have imagined the chance to be a part of it. When called upon, I am here to learn, develop, and give it my all. I already value the encouragement and faith of everyone I have met in the group.
Before our Ghana Premier League matchup with the Bibiani Gold Stars on Friday, Benjamin Twum will undergo a formal unveiling at Baba Yara Stadium while sporting the number 13 shirt.
