Konadu Yiadom, a defender for Hearts of Oak, has urged supporters to support the squad as they compete for the Ghana Premier League championship.

After the Premier League season’s first round ended, the Phobians were unable to place among the top four teams.

The Ghanaian powerhouses dropped to fifth place with 29 points, four points behind the leaders, the Bibiani Goldstars.

The former WAFA center-back pleaded with the media not to overlook the team while the competition for the ultimate championship rages on.

“Despite our poor league debut, our supporters encouraged and believed in us. “I will beg them to stick with the team till the Premier League season is over,” he stated.

The current Premier League season has seen just three appearances from Konadu Yiadom.

Hearts of Oak will travel to play the first-time Basake Holy Stars, who surprisingly overcame the Ghanaian powerhouses in the Accra Sports Stadium Premier League opener.
