Kwame Opoku, a striker for Asante Kotoko, has promised that he has more in store before the season’s second round.

After stints in Algeria and Morocco, the lanky goalie has returned to his old team on a two-and-a-half-year contract.

In the latter stages of the first round of the current 2024–2025 season, Kwame Opoku has already scored five goals in four games.

The former striker for the Nkronsah Warriors stated in an interview that he has not yet reached his fitness level but that he has more to offer.

He told Asempa FM, “It is just the beginning. There is more to come from me.”

“As the season progresses, the fitness level will increase,” he continued, adding that he had already scored five goals in four games.

With 31 points at the end of the first round of the season, Asante Kotoko was in third place on the league log.

In the Matchday 18 games at Baba Yara Stadium, the Porcupine Warriors will welcome relegation-threatened Karela United in an attempt to maintain their strong play.
