Aboubakar Ouattara praises Mawuli Wayo’s contribution to the Accra Lion’s victory.

Aboubakar Ouattara, the head coach of Hearts of Oak, has commended substitute Mawuli Wayo for his game-changing contribution during their 3-2 Ghana Premier League victory over Accra Lions.

After falling behind 2-1 at one stage in the match, Wayo scored a late brace in the 81st and 84th minutes to give Hearts of Oak the victory.

Ouattara praised the efforts of other substitutes, such as Martin Karikari, and emphasized Wayo’s game-changing goals.

“Mawuli Wayo, Karikari, and other players entered after we were unable to make it at first. They made sure we got the three points by altering the game. “That is what matters,” Ouattara said.

With 25 points, the victory puts Hearts of Oak in sixth place in the league standings. Ouattara’s admiration for Wayo is evidence of the player’s increasing significance on the squad.
